Sunrise's backstory deals with several heavy topics, including:
✾ Honour crimes
✾ Torture
✾ Limb loss/disfigurement
✾ Grief and loss
✾ Toxic relationships
✾ Physical and emotional abuse
✾ Neglect
✾ Suicidal ideation
There are also elements of body horror inherent to Sunrise because she's a patchwork corpse that was essentially rules-lawyered into counting as "living". This will be downplayed somewhat when there are no canon powers, but her body's still a mess and just, in general, does not function as should be expected of a normal living person.
Creation as a setting is rife with war, imperialism and supernatural horror, as well as many institutional and societal injustices. Slavery is still a fairly common practice in many parts of the setting, including where Sunrise is from. Sunrise herself comes from a caste-based society that is highly stratified, with an immense class gap that lends itself to corruption and discrimination. I don't expect this to come up much in regular play, if at all, but references or allusions to these things might be made depending on how CR goes.
I will do my best to label cws appropriately whenever they come up in threads.
Please reply here if you'd like me to avoid mentioning some or any of the subjects above, or opt out of tagging Sunrise entirely. If you'd like more details about any of these, you can hit me up here too or any of my other contacts.
